Voice recognition
March 17, 2010 on 9:01 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsThe post that is currently being read was typed by a voice recognition software package. I have just started and so it is difficult for the computer to recognize my Scottish accent! Which is really frustrating sometimes and makes you want to shout down the microphone however does not help the situation one little bit, which makes you shout even louder! Of course it does not help when you’re a terrible mumbler and the average person cannot make out what you say at the best of times!
I am now going to scream at the screen for a few minutes!!
LEGO Week!

) so here are some facts and if you have any please share:
1) If you built a column of about 40,000,000,000 LEGO bricks, it would reach the moon.
2) On average there are 32 LEGO bricks for every person on earth.

Tutankhamun may well have died of malaria!
March 5, 2010 on 9:23 pm | In David's Updates | 1 CommentThis was really interesting! (bet you think i’m sad!) I was watching a documentary today on the Discovery Channel about Tutankhamun.
They found that The Egyptian “boy king” Tutankhamun may well have died of malaria after the disease ravaged a body crippled by a rare bone disorder. The scientists in Egypt spent the last two years scrutinising the mummified remains of the 19-year old pharaoh to extract his blood and DNA but took several CAT scans. The findings revealed traces of the malaria parasite in his blood, the Journal of the American Medical Association says and his left foot was crumbling .
